Nottingham City Council and legal firm Geldards have announced a special exhibition to mark the Platinum Jubilee.
Entitled 70 Glorious Years â The Queen in Nottingham will be a large format open-air photographic exhibition.
A collection of 22 images, celebrate the Queenâs visits to Nottingham over the last 70 years from the Coronation tour in 1955 through to her most recent visit for the Diamond Jubilee in 2012. The images also look at how Nottingham people have celebrated significant royal occasions over the years.
The exhibition will open to the public in Old Market Square for public viewing on Friday 27 May and will remain until Sunday 5 June, open between 8am and 8pm daily.

Various locations
Many community groups have arranged smaller activities to mark the Platinum Jubilee, these free events are a mixture of community picnics, and craft activities, alongside organised fun and games for the kids.
Venues include King Edward Park, Queenâs Recreation Ground, Heathfield Park, Clifton Central Park, and Stockhill ParkÂ

Woodthorpe Park Clifton Flower Park Green's Windmill
On Thursday 2 June, as part of a chain of Queenâs Platinum Jubilee beacons, four Nottingham neighbourhoods will light their beacons, joining thousands of others throughout the nations and regions of the UK and across the Commonwealth.
All beacons will be lit at 9:45pm. Use the links above for details on individual events.

Lenton Recreation Ground St Mary's Rest Garden
Join The Nottingham City Parks Team to celebrate their partnership with the National Trust to help communities âblossomâ.
A range of free, family friendly activities will be on offer at Lenton Recreation Ground (Sat 28 May) and St Maryâs Rest Garden (Tues 31 May) between from 11am â 2pm,
Blossom Together is part of the Platinum Jubilee Queen's Green Canopy project.Â

Victoria Embankment, Nottingham
Meadowlands will be staged at Victoria Embankment in two-weeks time.
Already a legendary live performer, headliner - Gerry Cinnamonâs gigs have become folklore.
The festival features some of the hottest bands to emerge over the last year and also includes indie stalwarts The Kooks, Liverpoolâs The Mysterines whose debut album âReelingâ went top 10 in the UK album charts this week, Yorkshire breakout band The Reytons and festival favourites Black Honey.

Colwick Park
Detonate brings Nottingham together for a massive party.
Set amongst the woodland, lakes and clearings of Colwick Country Park with floating stages, woodland hideaways, global street food, cocktails, fireworks, and live street art, the line-up includes more than 60 live artists and DJs from across House, Dance, and Drum n' Bass.

Fancy a Sunday morning run in the park? Itâs not too late to sign up and raise money for the Nottingham Breast Cancer Research Centre at the same time.
You can register for the Nottingham 10K on the day â just head down to the Race Office by the University of Nottinghamâs Portland Building from 7.30am on Sunday to sign up.
The route will take runners around the beautiful Nottingham University, which is known for its extensive woodlands and gardens, as well as Highfields Park Boating Lake. So whether youâre trying to set a new personal best or you just want to give it a go. Race starts 9.30am.

The Nottingham Open is one of the key grass court events as top male and female stars warm up for Wimbledon.
Mutua Madrid Open winner and world No.7 Ons Jabeur (Pictured) makes her return to British grass courts after winning the Birmingham Classic last year.
Two former Nottingham Open champions are also set to return - 2019 winner Caroline Garcia, and 2015 victor Ana Konjuh.
On 4 and 5 June, kids go free during qualifying as part of the Family Fun Weekend. Adults tickets are just ÂŁ6, so don't miss out on some great tennis and lots of fun activities for the kids too!
