I’m up early this morning and dashing off this email before a full day of get-out-the-vote on our last day of early voting in this primary! We have a huge day planned including a rally with Gabby Giffords, so I’ll be on the go all day and this is my only chance to reach out with an update for you, John. We were trying to raise another $3,400 last night to fuel our field organizing team today, and we came up $855 short. That may not seem like a lot, but every last dollar matters when it comes down to voter turnout. And that’s how we win contested elections like this one. John, We are still seeing record-setting early voting numbers here in Georgia’s 7th District, and we are preparing for the traditional SURGE we see in turnout on the last day of early voting – which is tomorrow - Friday, May 20th. We only have a few more hours to go until midnight, and we need to raise another $3,400 at the last count to fully fund our “Get Out The Vote” plan for tomorrow. Our volunteers will be going full speed ahead all day, and former Rep.
