If you joined us last night for the first time and want more, it's not too late to watch installments one and two of The Game Plan.
If you joined us on Tuesday, you already know that a great way to start having real, persuasive conversations with the voters we need to reach in November is by signing up for People’s Action’s Deep Canvass Institute.
For those who aren’t familiar, deep canvassing is a form of voter contact and persuasion where volunteers have an extended two-way conversation with a voter. Unlike traditional canvass conversations, deep canvassing involves listening to the emotions and life experiences that caused voters to form an opinion on a specific issue and create space for them to change their mind.
Deep canvassing has been found to be more than 100x as effective as traditional canvassing, and People’s Action has been an innovator in developing and expanding deep canvass programs. This training is especially great if you’re wanting to take on more leadership this cycle, but all are welcome. Don’t take our word for it, here’s how some real live VSA super vols feel (we promise they weren’t audience plants):
