John, my wife, Abby, just stepped off the debate stage. This was Abby's last debate before she'll be facing off against Sen. Chuck Grassley, and she made the case for how she will defeat him and protect our Democratic Senate majority in the process.

It's an incredible experience to watch my wife run for U.S. Senate, especially against a guy who's been there long before either of us were even born. He’s been in Washington for 47 years and, in that time, he's turned his back on working families. Abby took to the debate stage tonight and showed everybody why she is the right person to represent us in the Senate. She will lift up the voices of working families and get the job done for our state and country.
