Hi friend, allow me to introduce myself.

I'm Walt Blackman, and I’m running for Congress in Arizona’s 2nd district.

I'm a conservative, a proud father, a devoted husband, and I served in the United States Army for nearly 22 years as a Front Line Tank Commander. 

I completed 7 tours of duty in some of the world’s most dangerous battlefields, including Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq, where I fought in the Second Battle of Fallujah, the bloodiest battle in the Iraq War.

My service earned me a Bronze Star for combat action in Iraq and a Meritorious Service Medal.

And I’ll always be proud of my service to our country.

But when I returned from defending America’s interests abroad, I realized our government wasn’t defending our American interests here at home, especially at our border.

I’ve watched the border crisis get worse and worse while politicians refuse to take action. As an Arizonan, this hits close to home.

I’m running for Congress because I want to fight for and protect Americans and Arizonans, just like I did overseas.

But I’m up against a deep-pocketed Democrat incumbent who votes in lockstep with Biden and Pelosi, and I’ll be honest… my team is really running behind.

Can I count on you to support my fight for freedom and safety?

Every single day, lethal drugs, violent criminals, and human traffickers are crossing our border unchecked. My opponent Tom O’Halleran is just letting it happen.

That disgusts me, and I’m really counting on you to help me defeat him. If we win this race, we’ll be on track to taking back Congress.
