Friend,

There are only a few weeks left to vote in the California Primary Election.

This year, YOU (yes, friend, you) have the unique opportunity to play a central role in making sure we have a true majority of climate champions in the California State Legislature and U.S. House of Representatives.

We’re reaching out today to share our list of endorsed candidates and measures in California – and we’re really hoping we can count on your vote:

Friend, this Primary Election is important – and here’s why:

There are more California State Senate and Assembly seats up for grabs this year than usual. Because of redistricting, many incumbent legislators have decided to retire rather than run in new, more competitive districts. That means we have a bigger opportunity to make a difference.

We are on a path to 62 to gain a climate majority in the State Legislature: 21 votes in the Senate and 41 votes in the Assembly.

Time is running out to pass the bold climate action we need. Climate experts gave us a 2030 deadline to make a significant impact against the climate crisis – and we must get started NOW.

It’s imperative we elect environmental leaders at all levels of government who will consistently introduce and support climate solutions.

The deadline to vote in the primary is June 7 – but please plan to turn in your ballot early! Then encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to do the same.
