Today, the Albuquerque Journal officially endorsed Gabe for Congress in New Mexico’s 2nd congressional district.

Citing Gabe’s public service experience on the Las Cruces City Council, with U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich, as executive director of the Hispano Chamber of Commerce de Las Cruces, and working as a climate and conservation advocate, the Journal said:

"...Vasquez’ experience demonstrates a commitment to community leadership" and called him "...the best candidate in the primary."

The Journal knows Gabe will fight for more affordable healthcare, public lands conservation, comprehensive immigration reform, and an economy that works for working families.
