Hi Friend,

We are just days away from Amazon’s annual shareholder meeting. As you probably know, it’s a critical time for Amazon workers following the big union victory at the JFK8 facility in Staten Island, NY and the ongoing efforts in Bessemer, Alabama, and the shareholder meeting presents an opportunity to address the ongoing crises impacting Amazon workers around the country.

Workers organized for a number of reasons, but one of the most significant issues for workers was Amazon’s racist abuse of workers and communities. Now it's our turn to take action and demand change at Amazon.

We’re joining with our friends at the Athena Coalition to tell Amazon investors they must deliver accountability to Amazon at next week’s shareholder meeting. Let Amazon workers know you have their backs and sign the petition right now.

We are asking you to sign this petition in support of a series of shareholder actions next week aimed at getting Amazon to:

  • Address its unsafe working conditions that put workers at risk of injury or death
  • End the company’s partnerships with police, ICE, prisons, and more.
  • Addressing warehouse working conditions, retaliation against organizing workers, and the racial and gender disparities at Amazon
  • Firing Amazon Board members Daniel Huttenlocher and Judith McGrath who have failed in their responsibility to address Amazon’s worker safety crisis.

Sign the petition right now and let everyone know you stand with those looking to take direct action next week to address the crises within Amazon that put workers at risk every single day.

Thank you for everything you do.

In Solidarity,

Joel
