Native America Speaks
2022 Schedule Announced

Native America Speaks is the longest-running Indigenous speaker series in the National Park Service. Your support funds over 100 events in Glacier each year, attended by more than 7,500 visitors.

Join us to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Native America Speaks in 2022 by attending a program or event. This award-winning program provides a unique window into the meaning and history of the place we now call Glacier National Park from the different perspectives of the Blackfeet, Salish, Pend d’Oreille and Kootenai peoples.

Climate Ride Match Announced

Last year, Climate Ride donated $64,191 to the Conservancy thanks to riders and hikers who participated in their charity events in Glacier National Park. In 2022, they are expecting to donate $144,000 to the Conservancy thanks to an incredible gift from Algorand Foundation. Algorand Foundation has made an extraordinary commitment to match dollar for dollar every donation raised by participants. We are thankful for the ongoing partnership of Climate Ride and the difference they are making for Glacier.

40th Anniversary Celebration

In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Native America Speaks, the Conservancy and Glacier National Park are excited to share a new logo to honor the indigenous speaker series. The stunning art was designed by Salish Kootenai College student, Henrietta Wolf Black. Henrietta was the winner of a logo design art contest this spring hosted by the Conservancy. The design will be featured on stickers distributed at Native America Speaks programs in Glacier National Park this summer!
