John,

Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays, and I am lucky to celebrate with family and friends as we give thanks for both the progress we have made this year and the promise of working together on behalf of our community and country in the future.

As we reflect on 2019, I am especially grateful to have the opportunity to represent our district in Congress, and for people like you. Your support, words of encouragement, and willingness to share your views (even when we respectfully disagree) is what makes our democracy -- a government of, by, and for the people -- worth fighting for.

We have so much work ahead of us as we continue fighting for the people, and I’m grateful to know you are on our team. There’s nothing we can’t do together.
