That’s the donation we’re asking you to make today to become a Founding General Election Donor to Cheri Beasley’s campaign for U.S. Senate.

Nonpartisan elections forecasters at CNN, NBC and FiveThirtyEight all have ranked our race as one of the most competitive in the entire country. They say it is one of Democrats best chances to pick up a seat and expand the majority.

That’s why the right-wing dark money groups are plowing money into our state right now. McConnell’s top super PAC has already booked $27 million for TV ads here — the second most of any state in the entire country.

We know it may not seem like $3 is enough for us to compete with the millions of dollars Senate Leadership Fund and other dark money groups are pouring into this race. But it’s not just your $3.
