In our last email, we told you we are constantly listening and learning. We meant what we said – and we are
proud to announce the launch of our Transparency Center.
We understand our responsibility, influence, and impact and for this reason, we are here to intentionally build trust through more open channels of communication. Together, we're forging a path that sustains Black people for generations. We are in the midst of a powerful transition down a path never charted before, and we believe this is a remarkable step in the right direction.
With the Transparency Center, you will be able to see answers to frequently asked questions and get a first hand look at our organizational leadership, whose vision is to create a world where Black people across the diaspora thrive, experience joy, and are not defined by their struggles.
There simply is no vision without our people.
To dive even further towards total transparency, you will also be able to view our 990 form, which is a tax document that provides the public with financial information about the foundation.
We hope that this step helps to show that we're working overtime to increase operations transparency, tightening compliance operations, and building out a formal leadership infrastructure.
