When people ask me why I want to serve in Congress, here’s what I tell them: serving my country is all I’ve ever really wanted to do. It runs in my family, and I love this country with every fiber of my being. What we have here is the envy of every other nation in the world: freedom to speak our minds, freedom to choose what is best for ourselves and freedom to live our American Dreams. I want my kids to grow up knowing this life - not the life of subjugation found in Communist China. That’s why, no matter the inhibitor to our independence, I will fight for these freedoms with the tenacity I did in war. Our country deserves no less from its representatives in Congress. But this year, if I want to keep up that fight, I need the votes of thousands of folks who have never even seen my name on a ballot before. You see, I’m running in a newly-drawn district that is currently represented by a far-left Democrat. Flipping this seat is critical to taking back the House from Pelosi and her minions.
