Rescheduled – Transatlantic Titles: Spotlighting New Books by Local Authors

The Washington, DC-Baltimore area is home to outstanding local authors and book creators who work in historical nonfiction, young adult nonfiction, historical monograph, and more. On Tuesday, June 7, we invite you to meet three of these individuals, all of whom have recently published works that occupy a cultural and historical intersection of the United States and Germany.

Sound Scene 2022: Trust | Dorit Chrysler

For Sound Scene 2022, the Goethe-Institut Washington supports the visit of thereminist and composer Dorit Chrysler. Chrysler – who was born in Graz, Austria, and resides in Berlin – will present a theremin workshop and engage in dialogue with Yoko Ono's "Wish Tree" installation in the Hirshhorn Sculpture Garden.
