Hi Jack – Over the last year, I have learned so much about how people are struggling in our communities. While earning my Master’s in Social Work I worked daily connecting individuals to resources…but often found that resources were not there.

So when I saw that our Governor declined $89 million in federal rental assistance funds AND that our state has a surplus that is set to hit $1 BILLION at the end of the fiscal year on June 30, 2022, I was confused, because I know a lot of people who would have benefitted from that.

We are not short on areas needing help. We have a teacher shortage. On any given day, 2,366 people are without housing. Our prisons are overcrowded. We’re #1 in teen pregnancy. And our bridges are falling apart.

Meanwhile, Arkansas is sitting on a billion-dollar surplus while Arkansans are struggling.

Look, I’m all for a rainy day fund, but it looks to me like it is a rainy day in Arkansas if we have people struggling to get their needs met.

We need to invest in families and children so that every Arkansan can do well. That’s why I’m running to be the next Lieutenant Governor, so I can help empower families and children and advocate on their behalf.

With a little over five months to reach voters in every corner of the state and ensure they know who I am and that I’ll fight for them, I need you with me now.

Please, will you help us make a difference in the lives of Arkansans by pitching in $25 or any amount you can now to elect a leader who will prioritize the needs of people across the state?

Every dollar we raise will help us grow our team, boost our advertising budget, and turn out the voters we need to win.

We deserve so much more from our leaders, and you can count on me to go to Little Rock to demand better of them.
