With the Senate currently tied with 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans, every race will matter this November. Need proof? Look no further than North Carolina, where this week’s primary determined which candidates will face off in the fall.

The Democrat, Cheri Beasley, is a mainstream Democrat, who will fight to expand and improve Social Security and Medicare, and lower prescription drug prices.

The Republican Ted Budd, on the other hand, endorsed the Rick Scott plan to end Social Security and Medicare in 5 years, and as a member of the House of Representatives voted to reject the results of the 2020 election.
