By now you probably know that John Fetterman won the Democratic primary
for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania. A seemingly unrelated report by The
Hill shows one reason why this is important:

"A racially motivated mass shooting in Buffalo is putting new pressure on
Democrats to consider gun control legislation -- but once again, centrist
Sen. Joe Manchin is emerging as a problem."

John Fetterman just said on Twitter days ago "Why can’t we pass
comprehensive gun control reform? Why can’t we codify Roe v Wade? Why
can’t we pass voting rights legislation? 🤔🤔 It starts with an F and ends
with an R."

If we flip this and one other Republican Senate seat, Manchin and Sinema
lose their veto, we can reform the filibuster, and finally act on
legislation on gun control, voting rights, climate, abortion rights, and
much more.
