Hi John,

Transforming our affordable housing sector in the Bay Area might seem like a daunting task, but it really starts with one person.

It can start with you and me, right now.

This is why NPH is proud to present our brand new Anti-Racist Champions of Change (ARCC) program, a one-year immersive experience designed for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) managers and their executive-level leaders in the Bay Area’s affordable housing industry who are ready to see their organization at the forefront of change and are committed to dismantling oppressive power dynamics in the affordable housing field.

Do you believe that a new culture at work is not only possible but necessary for the future of our affordable housing industry? Do you believe in prioritizing and supporting BIPOC in leadership?

Then join us for an upcoming information session to learn more about ARCC, as well as the differences between the two tracks of the program: the BIPOC Manager Experience and the Executive-Level Leader Experience:

The Need for Industry Change, Now How do we know that our industry needs change? We’ve done our homework, engaging with and listening to emerging and established BIPOC leaders as well as seasoned executives in the C-Suites of affordable housing organizations. Some of our findings include:

  • BIPOC leaders are already leading, yet often their work and leadership go unrecognized.

  • BIPOC leaders are considering leaving the field for lack of opportunities to move into more influential positions with better pay and benefits.

  • Many senior executives, including those who identify as white, are deeply committed to anti-racist leadership and could benefit from targeted support on how to lead as a stronger ally.

Join us for the first-ever ARCC cohort as we strive to create space for personal growth for BIPOC leaders; center relationship building; focus on organizational change; and in turn accelerate transformation of our affordable housing industry in the Bay Area.

See you at an upcoming ARCC info session!

Onward,
