As the war in Ukraine continues, here are the key areas where MSF has expanded and adapted services to meet the most urgent medical needs since our last update…

To date, we’ve brought more than 460 tons of urgently needed medical and relief supplies.

As of May 4, 2022, there are approximately 170 international MSF staff and more than 400 Ukrainian MSF staff working in Ukraine, and the number continues to grow.

We’ve equipped and staffed two medical trains that transfer patients to hospitals in safer parts of the country. Since March 31, MSF has transported 420 people to safer hospitals.

We are running mobile clinics for people sheltering in metro stations in Kharkiv, treating stress and psychological trauma as well as medical needs.

Friend, whenever a crisis strikes, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams quickly assess the situation, work to establish needs on the ground, and respond intentionally so that our presence can have a real impact for the people most in need.
