It’s official: Madison Cawthorn lost his re-election campaign -- which is a good thing for our country. 

His first act in Congress was to participate in an armed insurrection, and since then he's continued to threaten our democracy by spreading conspiracy theories and misleading voters throughout his time in public office. 

This is clearly not an individual we want making decisions, so his loss yesterday is a win for the rest of us. But since Cawthorn isn’t the only MAGA Republican who’s putting our country at risk, the work doesn’t stop here. 

Our team will continue to stand up to radical Republicans -- and work to vote out every single member of the sedition caucus. Will you chip in now to ensure we have the resources to do it?

Just last weekend, Trump tried to save Cawthorn in a desperate attempt to keep one of his allies in power. And he’ll continue to use his influence to support the rest of his accomplices as well, which means we need to be ready for some tough races.
