Dear Friend
Wage theft is an issue that affects many across the district, from tipped workers not getting their full pay, workers being forced to clock out early but work more hours, denial of sick leave, and much more. DC Jobs with Justice is spending this summer out in the community, educating on how to identify and fight wage theft.
We're hiring a team of people with a passion for justice to be part of a an organizing fellowship where you'll learn vital organizing skills, support union and community partners in outreach, and run events to engage people in the fight against wage theft.

We strongly encourage people of color, native Washingtonians (particularly those from East of the river), graduates of DC public schools, women, LGBTQ, and differently-abled people to apply.
Frequently cited statistics show that people of color, women, trans, and non-binary people, as well as other structurally marginalized groups apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. DC JWJ encourages you to break that statistic and to apply. No one ever meets 100% of the qualifications
We look forward to your applications,
In Solidarity,
Team DC JWJ
