Dear friend, This is a day for gratitude -- and working at GLAAD, I have so much to be thankful for. I’m grateful to go to work every single day surrounded by passionate, dedicated advocates for equality. I’m grateful for all the progress we’ve made in the past year despite overwhelming odds and powerful opposition. Most of all, friend, I’m grateful for you. You’re part of the nationwide community of supporters who make GLAAD’s work possible. Together, you and thousands of Americans have stood strong over the past three years to say we will not allow our progress to be ripped away. At my family’s Thanksgiving table, as I gave thanks for my amazing wife and kids, I knew that your commitment to LGBTQ equality is part of the reason that families like mine all over America enjoy the legal rights and protections we’re entitled to. So today, I hope you’re surrounded by people you love. I hope your heart is filled with joy for all the gains we’ve made and passionate purpose as we look ahead to 2020 and all the fights that we have yet to win, knowing that we are in this together, on the side of family, of togetherness, and of love.
