The new Congressional map robs us of power.

Hakeem Jeffries for the People

John xxxxxx — Redistricting chaos in New York was unleashed by our state’s Court of Appeals, and the result gratuitously targets Black representation.

In 2020, we came together to elect the most Black Members to Congress in New York State’s history.

But now, an unelected, out-of-town Special Master drew a new Congressional map that robs us of power — placing four Black Members of Congress into the same districts, diluting the Black vote, and taking a sledgehammer to historically Black neighborhoods like Bed-Stuy, which the legendary Shirley Chisholm once represented.

It’s enough to make Jim Crow blush, and we have no choice but to fight back.

I need to know you’re with me. Rush a donation to my campaign so we can keep up the fight for fair maps and fair representation so that ALL voices may be heard at the ballot box.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Shirley Chisholm once said, “If they don't give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” We brought folding chairs in masses in 2020, and we won’t let them move the table this time around.

Keep the faith,

— Hakeem
