Dear John,
As we gather to celebrate with family and friends and take stock in all that we are grateful for today, I want to take a moment to say how thankful we are for you. It is your unwavering commitment to our mission that has helped to create a brighter life on the spectrum for so many people with autism and their families.
You fundraised, walked, donated, advocated, shared your stories and rallied around the autism community. It’s because of YOU that Autism Speaks has been able to do even more to help people with autism to reach their full potential.
Thanks to you: countless lives were touched because of life-enhancing research breakthroughs. Newly diagnosed children received timely intervention because of increased childhood screening. And teens and adults on the spectrum have increased opportunities that will empower them to live their most meaningful days. Having you in our corner has truly made an impact, and I am personally so grateful.
On behalf of all of us at Autism Speaks, please know that we deeply appreciate all that you do. We send our warmest wishes for a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
Gratefully,
Angela Geiger
President and CEO
