John,

While bills are being debated in Albany, people’s real lives hang in limbo. That couldn’t be truer than with the New York for All Act, which would protect communities across New York State. Currently, local law enforcement and state agencies can collaborate with immigration enforcement, threatening to cruelly tear apart families.

Hear from Patty in Western NY, whose life has been forever changed because of these harmful policies:

“I’m Patty from Guatemala. I have been in this country for 14 years, all of which I have worked in agriculture. A few years ago, the father of my son was stopped by the police, and they called immigration enforcement soon after. My son was five when his father was deported, and he still says that he feels that emptiness inside of him because he's no longer with his dad. I want the law to change so that the police do not have communication with immigration enforcement.”
Call On NYS Leaders to Keep NY Families Together!
Every day our leaders delay action on the New York for All Act, people’s lives are permanently altered. When it comes to keeping New York families safe, there’s no time to waste. Call on your representatives to pass this legislation today—immigrant New Yorkers are counting on us to deliver. Your actions will keep New York families stronger and united.

Onward,
