In just under 24 hours, we’ll be kicking off the 2022 State Convention to endorse our statewide DFL ticket.
After the MN GOP state convention last weekend, the stakes of this election have never been in sharper focus. In virtually every race, Republicans couldn't have picked a more extreme candidate. And leading their whole ticket is Scott Jensen – the Republican endorsed candidate for Governor, who, over the past several weeks alone, has promised to ban abortion for rape victims and throw Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon in jail.
As bad as the GOP's slate of statewide candidates is, right-wing campaign funders know this midterm election is their best chance in decades to flip Minnesota red. And they're not going to let the opportunity slip by. Republican money will be pouring into our state at an unprecedented volume.
John, keeping Minnesota blue in November will be one of the most difficult challenges our Party has ever faced. We are building the biggest midterm year coordinated campaign in our Party's history to hold the line, but we can’t do it without you.
