As we get ready to spend Thanksgiving with our friends, neighbors, and family, our team here at Let America Vote is reflecting on what we’re grateful for: our community that’s standing up for voting rights.

Our Board of Advisors has grown to over 40 incredible members. We have leaders on every level of government who are joining us in the fight to protect voting rights -- mayors, state representatives, governors, and more.

We also have voting rights champions who are fighting for the right to vote across the nation -- leaders like Cecile Richards, Stacey Abrams, and Dan Pfieffer. We’re grateful for these leaders who, no matter what position they hold, prioritize fighting voter suppression, and using their roles to protect and advance access to the ballot box.

But I’m really sending you a message today to say that we’re grateful for you, John.

In 2018, our grassroots team talked to voters and mobilized Americans to help elect 100 leaders who are now standing up for voting rights. And this year, together, we took back Virginia's state legislature -- and defended the state against gerrymandered maps.

Whether you made phone calls, knocked on doors, or made a donation, you’ve been a part of those victories. And we’re so thankful. Seeing our democracy in action and the impact face-to-face conversations had on voting rights in recent elections is powerful.

We couldn’t be more grateful for our growing community that's standing up for voting rights.

So thank you for being a part of the team. We’re excited to see what we can accomplish together in 2020,

Tori

DONATE

Paid for by Let America Vote (www.letamericavote.org). Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee.

Let America Vote is committed to creating political consequences for politicians who make it harder to vote. In 2018, our boots-on-the-ground teams knocked on over 340,000 doors to help flip the New Hampshire House and Senate, elect 100 voting-rights champions across the country, and help pass automatic voter registration in Nevada. We are building a grassroots movement that hold politicians accountable when they suppress the vote.

This message was sent to [email protected] because you are a vital part of our team. We're able to protect access to the ballot box because of grassroots supporters like yourself. Since we started knocking doors last year in Virginia, we've received more than 150,000 online contributions – and our average donation is $24.

We can't win the argument over voting rights alone, that's where you come in. If you'd like to join our fight to protect voting rights with a grassroots donation, please click here. Together we can create political consequences for vote suppressors.
