So, you already know that Groundwork Project is committed to funding local organizers through multi-year, unrestricted grants in our partner states: Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma and West Virginia.
But did you know that we also send mini-grants to organizations doing great work everywhere that we just love?
That’s right! On top of the large partner grants we send to grantees in our four partner states, we now have a GWP mini-grant program that awards ‘mini-grants’ to organizers who we know could use extra support, wherever they may be.
Each month, our team aims to vet and deliver several mini-grants of up to $2000 each to trusted hyperlocal organizations we believe in and want to give an extra lift!
Our first internal budget deadline to keep us on track with our mini-grant program is tomorrow night. Can I count on you to give $50 (our average contribution) right now to support all the great things we’re working on? [[link removed]]
CONTRIBUTE [[link removed]]
Groundwork mini-grants can be used to cover specific programmatic, education, training or capacity needs related to an organization’s central mission and work. We know there is an endless list of issues in need of attention within our communities – that’s why we created our mini-grant program. We don’t want to miss any opportunity to support organizers and community leaders on the ground.
Can you help us reach our May goal to award another round of mini-grants? Donate now! [[link removed]]
CONTRIBUTE Now [[link removed]]
Our mini-grants are just another way we funnel resources into our regions of focus. We know that by supporting grassroots organizers long term we can build the lasting political infrastructure to make real, equitable progress and change.
We hope you join us,
Julia

Groundwork Project
> Founded by Joe Kennedy III, Groundwork Project invests in year-round, local community organizing in places Democrats have gotten used to writing off. With a focus on Appalachia, the Deep South, and the Plains, we support local advocates and activists working to build durable political infrastructure and secure power for those historically excluded.

Individual contributions will be allocated as follows: $5,000 per calendar year to a bank account that operates as a Federal PAC, and the remainder to the Non-Contribution Account of our PAC.
