Our work to protect the fundamental right to bodily autonomy, abortion
care, and reproductive freedom is more urgent than ever.

Right now, Republican politicians are advancing a wave of draconian
anti-abortion and anti-trans healthcare bills at the state level, and
threatening access to essential services like birth control. And the
far-right U.S. Supreme Court has signaled the imminent repeal of Roe v.
Wade, making clear that it’s not on the side of the people.

That’s why Ayanna joined Rep. Nikema Williams and 114 of their House
colleagues to introduce powerful legislation that fights back against
attempts to criminalize those seeking the full range of reproductive and
sexual health care — including abortion, gender-affirming care, and
contraceptive care.
