I Completely Lost My Libido Post-Kids
[[link removed]]
Today Diana Park is tackling a topic that will be sadly familiar to a lot of
moms: the fact that for a lot of us, it takes a while for your libido to rebound
after having kids. “I did try as best as I could to get in the mood, but I just
wasn’t. Then, I kept hoping my low libido would pass and I’d feel like my old
self again. That didn’t happen either.”

She ultimately realized part of her problem was simple: putting pressure on
herself. Yup, that’ll do it.

When My Mom Needed Care, My Kids Stepped Up
[[link removed]]
Alexandra Frost has a lovely piece today about when her mom had surgery and
suddenly went from providing child care assistance to needing help herself: “I
worried about how my kids would react to the sight of their typically involved
grandmother in such a state, unable to move much of her body without help and
even needing bathroom assistance. My first instinct was to shield them from this
recovery process,” she writes. Then, one morning, her 3-year-old took charge –
and it changed her entire outlook.
