From the bottom of my heart, I am truly honoured and humbled that the voters of this district have chosen to put their faith in me.

I want to personally thank you for your support throughout this process. I have been extremely proud to serve this community from the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City School Board to the State House and State Senate, and I cannot wait to continue this journey as your Congresswoman.

There is so much on the line in November. But I’m ready to get in there and fight for the issues that matter the most to North Carolinians. We face major challenges, from an attacks on voting rights and reproductive rights to the climate crisis and much more. We cannot afford to fight each other in these desperate times. That is why I refused to engage in the divisiveness during this campaign.

I am eager to serve and deliver for the people of the Fourth district and address the big challenges we face as a country.
