Yesterday, against an obscene amount of dark money, Summer Lee pulled off
a stunning victory.

Alexandria endorsed Summer Lee because she understands the realities of
working people and is dedicated to the fight for justice for ALL.

Last night’s victory demonstrates the strength of the growing, organized
progressive and democratic socialist movement. Summer Lee was outspent 2:1
by dark money groups, but we know that people power is stronger than
special interests. Big money groups may be evolving in their tactics, but
so are we in fighting back and winning.

Next up is Jessica Cisneros running in TX-28 against Henry Cuellar, the
last anti-choice “Democrat” in the House. Last cycle, Jessica came just
shy of pulling out a win and replacing Cuellar. This year we have another
chance to make that happen.

We wouldn’t be asking if it weren’t important. Jessica is up against over $2 million in

We need a bigger squad in Congress who understand the realities of working
people. Over the next several weeks, Alexandria will be announcing more
progressive endorsements across the country, so we’ll need to be prepared
to go up against more outside funding and dark money PACs looking to
maintain the establishment status quo.

Outside money has never emmassed like this before and it’s all in response
to people like Summer and Alexandria pushing progressive priorities and
fighting for working class people. We saw it in Nida Allam’s race where
she lost after being outspent 10:1 from an influx of billionaire and
special interest money.

They may have the money, but we have the people. Let’s show them what
grassroots people power can do by pulling off another victory:

Chip in whatever you can now to power her campaign over the finish line
and help our movement build the progressive infrastructure to keep growing
our progressive coalition in Congress.
