John, this is how I remember my daughter Jaime – always smiling.

Jaime was kind, she loved to dance, she loved the beach, and she loved her family. Jaime was only 14 when she was killed in the Parkland school shooting. 

It truly rips your heart out when gun violence hits this close to home, and nothing can prepare you for what follows.
