IJ Forfeiture Victory Over San Bernardino Sheriff
Armored car company Empyreal Logistics will end its lawsuit against the San Bernardino County Sheriff after the federal government agreed to return 100% of its seized funds earlier this month. IJ filed the lawsuit after Empyreal’s vehicles were pulled over multiple times and more than $1.1 million of state-licensed cannabis deposits was seized and transferred to federal law enforcement for civil forfeiture proceedings.
