If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it’s this: I love basketball.

Before I ever thought about running for office, I played professional basketball as a point guard. For those of you that aren’t huge basketball fans, the point guard drives the offense. On the court, I was making split-second decisions, choosing a play and setting up my teammates to score.

Being a point guard takes vision and teamwork. Now that I’m running for Governor, I know that’s also what it takes to run a successful campaign. I see the challenges our communities are facing and the opportunities before us. To move our state forward, we need a Governor who will make strategic decisions that support our entire team – not just the lucky few.

I’ve talked to families all across the state who are struggling with the rising cost of living. I’ve heard stories from local business owners who are still reeling from the pandemic. Our campaign is committed to teamwork; that means no one gets left behind.

We’re going to leverage all of the unique strengths of our diverse communities to come back stronger than before. I need an assist as we ramp up this groundbreaking campaign for Governor so we can build a state that lifts our whole team up.
