I’m honored that we’ll be joined by one of the most impressive progressive elected officials in the country–our own Jamie Raskin, the United States House Member representing Maryland’s District 8 where many of our members and leaders live. We will hear from Rep. Raskin and highlight what we’ve been doing to start building a a progressive wave in Maryland politics. We hope to turn the tide and put political power in the hands of working class people. For too long it’s been the wealthy few and corporate interests that have stood in the way of making the changes and investments our communities and families need. We’ve had a successful first year thanks to supporters like you. We’ll share stories from the campaign trail, introduce some of our endorsed candidates and get to hear what Rep. Raskin thinks we can do together to build the wave.
