Friend,

Things are looking pretty grim at the state capital right now, and Action New Orleans needs your help. ([link removed])

Legislators have refused to protect LGBTQ+ workers from discrimination, passed a ban on transgender athletes in sports, restricted access to critical healthcare for women, revived efforts to force LGBTQ+ youth back into the closet while in school, and attempted to incarcerate women for having an abortion.

Will you chip in $25 to help support candidates for office who are ready to focus on the real issues impacting our communities? ([link removed])

These attacks on women and the LGBTQ+ community are blatant attempts to chastise already vulnerable populations. They also mean huge economic impacts for New Orleans.

Just this week, a conference set to be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center was canceled ([link removed]) due to the recent attacks on abortion access.

Action New Orleans needs your help fighting hate-filled legislation. Can you chip in just $25 to support our efforts? ([link removed])
