FIRST: A Steuben County judge selected an unelected, out-of-town Special Master to redraw New York State’s Congressional maps — blatantly ignoring the testimony of Brooklyn residents.

THEN: A draft Congressional map was released that targets Black representation by placing four Black members of Congress, including Hakeem, into the same districts and diluting the Black vote by carving up neighborhoods like Bed-Stuy.

NOW: Hakeem needs your help to fight back.

This map is unacceptable, unconscionable, and even unconstitutional. But we need to prepare for the worst case scenario, and that means strategizing a plan to reach as many voters as we can to help re-elect Hakeem to his newly-drawn district.
