I am grateful for the overwhelming show of support I received throughout the city in Tuesday's primary election. Although we need to improve voter participation in future elections, I am very thankful to those of you who took the time to exercise your civic duty at the ballot box.

I love my city and want to leave a safer, more sustainable and equitable Charlotte for my daughter and all those growing up and living here!

THANK YOU to all my supporters, donors and volunteers. And I am so appreciative for our incredible team of interns!

I especially thank my husband and daughter for their patience and help during my campaign. Their sacrifices allow me to continue doing the job I love – serving as your At-Large City Councilwoman.
