Mayor Lori Lightfoot has a solution to curtailing Chicago’s rising crime rates. Is it funding the police? Ending cashless bail? Prosecuting violent crimes? Nope. Her solution is to implement a curfew for all Chicagoans under 18.
While Lightfoot has enriched herself with police protection on the taxpayer dime, she still hasn’t afforded the same protection to her constituents, instead opting to implement other policies that give the illusion of caring about crime, while doing nothing to address the root of the problem.
