It shouldn't take a mass shooting to pass common sense gun laws, but here we are: 10 more people are dead after a mass shooting in Buffalo, NY. What’s worse? It’s not just one mass shooting that has passed without action, there has already been nearly 200 this year alone.
We know what has to be done to save lives from gun violence, but the Senate has failed to expand Brady Background Checks after the House passed the bill over a year ago. Gun lobby puppets and the archaic filibuster have allowed this lifesaving legislation to languish in limbo.
Enough is enough, John. We’re done waiting for a Senate that puts the gun lobby over American lives.
