John,

Two weeks ago, our country saw a glimpse of its nightmare scenario: 50 years of legal precedent that allows us to govern our own bodies being thrown out by the Supreme Court.

Last week, 51 US Senators voted against the Women's Health Protection Act and failed to enshrine the protections of Roe v. Wade.

The decision to have an abortion is a deeply personal one — one that will have a lasting impact on someone's life, health, & future. I promise to always stand up for your right to make your own medical decisions — including the right to safe, legal abortion services.

These are the stakes of this election now. They are trying to undermine our basic human rights to health care and autonomy — and they won't stop after banning abortion.

That's why our upcoming election is crucial for the protection of women's rights across the country. We need to keep our Democratic majority in the House and Senate, can you please donate $5 to support pro-choice Democrats? >>> Safe and equal access to abortion IS healthcare — something everyone deserves. But we can see clearly that we cannot depend on this Supreme Court or the current Senate to protect these fundamental rights for millions across the country.

Abortion is still legal, the right to decide still stands, but these recent developments show us that we cannot let up the fight.

We will need more pro-choice members in the Senate and the House to preserve Roe. So I am asking you today to make a donation and help us keep our pro-choice majority. >>> Thank you,

Suzan
