You may have heard of their names or seen them in productions such as the hit FX show Atlanta or Hulu movie No Exit. Or, if you are like me, you may have run into them at one of our climate rallies.

We met Zazie and David during our campaign to pass Local Law 97—a bill that makes New York City buildings, which are the number one source of pollution in our city, cleaner and greener. Together, we won that campaign.

As David says, at the time, they were "brand new to local politics and the idea of lobbying was intimidating." But "NYCC made us feel like that was okay - the climate movement needs all of us embracing our amateur status as we move to create a better world."
