Bad news: Trump-endorsed extremist Doug Mastriano just won the Republican gubernatorial primary in Pennsylvania.

In case you don’t know, Mastriano is a state senator who:

–Participated in the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol
–Played a lead role in the GOP attempt to overturn the 2020 election results in Pennsylvania
–Spent thousands of dollars to bus people to the Capitol on January 6th

In short, he’s a complete disgrace.

Unfortunately, it’s not just him. There are over 600 Doug Mastrianos in statehouses across the country – state Republicans who played a role in advancing Trump’s Big Lie through falsified claims of election fraud or by being at the Capitol on January 6th. And any one of them could become secretaries of state, attorney generals, or even governors if we don’t end their political careers.

In Arizona, the Republican-controlled Senate wasted taxpayer dollars on a sham ballot review of the 2020 elections, and then passed several bills that aim to put up unnecessary barriers to the ballot box – simply because they didn’t like that President Biden won the state.

And in Michigan, a state Trump lost and was fixated on in 2020, GOP legislators are scheming to undermine vote-by-mail laws. Meanwhile, Trump’s already drumming up support up and down the ballot to support his MAGA extremists.
