Friend,

Replacement theory is white supremacist nonsense. This racist, vile, antisemitic rhetoric -- aimed at making white Americans afraid that nefarious forces are working to replace them with immigrants, in part to gain political and electoral power -- is absurd, and until recently, it was a fringe conspiracy theory.

But then Tucker Carlson started promoting it. Then GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz. Now GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik. And as the Republican party has adopted these radical talking points, they’ve become increasingly normalized -- and increasingly dangerous.

We can’t let these right-wing extremists dominate the conversation -- which means we need the resources to make our voices heard. Can I count on your support? <[link removed]>

We have to stand united against this divisive, racist fear-mongering and get loud in defense of our communities. So let’s be clear: Immigrants are essential to our communities, and they -- like all people of color -- belong here.

And we have to keep saying it, especially as white supremacists try to dominate the conversation. So that's what I'll continue to do -- and I hope you're with me. <[link removed]>

Thank you,

Ted
