Being a progressive champion for Southern California's working families in Washington is the honor of my life. For years, I have been leading the effort to rename the Whittier Post Office after Vietnam Veteran Jose Ramos, and last month we were finally able to make it official! After returning home, Jose committed his life to ensuring that veterans in our community and across the country have the respect they deserve and the resources they need to succeed. I am proud to honor him in this meaningful way. ([link removed])

I’ve also had the pleasure of visiting many businesses in our area that are bouncing back. Local restaurants like Happy Harbor Seafood in Rowland Heights were hit hard, but thanks to funds I helped secure in the American Rescue Plan, many could stay open, serve takeout, and keep employees on the payroll.

I’m also excited to share some of the organizations that have endorsed my campaign because they know I am a progressive champion who fights for our community—and I’m proud to have them fighting by my side.

In addition to the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor AFL-CIO, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and the Armenian National Committee of America, we’ve also seen support from:
