Our hope rests in God's strength! And we need that hope more than ever, as our nation seems to be facing one crisis after another.

At a time of war in Ukraine, inflation, angry protests outside Supreme Court justices' homes, and an attack on the headquarters of Wisconsin Family Action, President Biden has made it clear that his administration is more focused on pushing a radical sexual ideology and abortion on demand than advocating for freedom and human rights.

Just look back to the first few days after his State of the Union address on March 1. For the first 48 hours after this speech, the White House had the media's focus and attention--a prime opportunity to promote their core policy initiative.

What did Biden's team choose to prioritize? The transgender agenda!

In his speech, the president took a few moments to tell young Americans suffering from gender dysphoria that he'll "always have [kids'] backs...." But his idea of having kids' backs means allowing children's bodies to be mutilated and permanently sterilized through experimental "gender transition" procedures.

Now is the time to elevate the voice of truth. Will you stand and support Family Research Council's mission to advance faith, family, and freedom?

Leaders in Texas are pushing back, appropriately calling these procedures on minors "child abuse." Governor Greg Abbott (R) and Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) have directed the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to investigate anyone steering minors toward cross-sex hormones and irreversible surgeries.

How did President Biden respond to this commonsense measure?

By unleashing the full force of the U.S. government through his Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, promising "immediate action." Becerra stated, "These actions [i.e., preventing gender transition procedures on children] are clearly dangerous to the health of transgender youth in Texas." In reality, it's the procedures that are dangerous to kids' health.

Just ask Abigail Martinez, a California mother who lost her daughter to suicide after she struggled with her gender identity.

Martinez tried to help her daughter overcome depression. But when her 16-year-old came out as a transgender boy, school officials contacted social services, removed her from her mother's custody, and placed her into the state foster care system.

While the medical and social systems worked against her, Martinez never missed a court date to try and get her daughter back. She even requested that her child be allowed a psych evaluation, but the judge denied the request because the social worker said she needed to affirm her daughter as transgender.

Tragically, in September 2019, Abigail's daughter stepped in front of a train and took her own life. Today, Martinez shares her heartbreaking story because, she says, "I don't want this to happen to any other family."

Despite fierce pushback from far-Left groups, Texas's decision to label transgender treatments as child abuse has already delivered one major victory. Texas Children's Hospital in Houston announced they would stop puberty blockers and other treatments that can have life-altering effects on minors.

FRC's Dr. Jennifer Bauwens praised Texas on Washington Watch, saying, "It's good to see states standing up for children... the president says he has [kids'] backs... [but that's] dangerous, because the fact of the matter is, the science behind this issue isn't there."

Biden is "using his office to legitimize practices that are, in the end, going to hurt children and cause further problems down the road."

The battle against the Biden administration's radical pro-LGBT, pro-abortion, pro-big government agenda might feel hopeless, but let me underscore this--America is not down for the count. Like Texas, we are up for the fight!

Will you stand shoulder to shoulder with Family Research Council?

• Our pro-life maps and resources show the status of protections for the unborn in each state and expose how the abortion industry is subsidized with your tax dollars. We are also proactively working with state legislators, ministries, and pro-life Americans to prepare for a post-Roe v. Wade

• We equip parents to find their voices and fearlessly stand up for their children in the face of the U.S. Department of Justice and the National School Board Association's attempts to intimidate them.

• We analyze legislation for hidden provisions that would expand abortion, undermine parental rights, and erode conscience and religious liberty protections. And we alert our thousands of followers across the nation through our broadcasts so they can raise their concerns to policymakers.

Let's stand together to advance faith, family, and freedom in public policy and shape a future in which all human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives.
