With less than six months to go until Election Day, we need all hands on deck to flip key Iowa Senate seats and get us on the path back to the majority.

I’m not asking for a financial contribution today; instead, I’m asking you to sign up to get involved in other ways to support our great slate of Democratic candidates — whether that looks like texting a friend, knocking on doors, or taking a yard sign.

With Roe v. Wade poised to be overturned, electing Democrats to state legislatures is more urgent than ever. While abortion is still legal in Iowa, Republican politicians in Iowa are already pushing a constitutional amendment to outlaw abortion, and Kim Reynolds has already stated she wants to ban abortion as quickly as possible.

We can’t let them — and that starts with our work right now to elect more Democrats to the Iowa Senate. Iowa Senate Democrats proudly stand for the right to choose and will always fight to protect abortion rights. We must do everything we can to take back the Senate majority and defend reproductive rights.

We’ve talked a lot about doing things differently to get back to winning elections. That starts with empowering you — our grassroots supporters — to help in whatever capacity you can. There’s no one way to get involved, and any way you do will be a crucial piece of the puzzle as we work to take back the Iowa Senate.
