I'm writing to you today to talk about something serious. Establishment
billionaires and right-wing super PACs are spending record amounts to
weaken our progressive movement.

Here’s the problem: In upcoming midterm elections, super PACs are spending
over $10 million to defeat progressive women of color running for
Congress.

In Pennsylvania, Cori endorsed Summer Lee, an organizer, progressive
fighter, and state legislator for Congress. Summer's primary is today, and
super PACs have spent nearly $3 million in disgusting attack ads full of
racist and sexist misinformation.

What we’re expecting: A new Democratic super PAC was just announced, named
the "Mainstream Democrats PAC" with the explicit purpose of defeating
progressive candidates.

And in Missouri, a mystery group called "Progressives for Missouri" has
already sent mailers attacking Cori to homes across St. Louis. The truth?
This mailer is coming from corporate Democrats — not our progressive
movement.

The harsh reality is that this is just the beginning. The GOP and
far-right groups have already made it clear that they're terrified of
Cori's bold, progressive agenda, and they're prepared to spend record
amounts of money to attack Cori during the midterm elections.

Last cycle, shady corporate donors and super PACs spent tens of millions
of dollars trying to defeat progressive members including Representatives
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib.

With less than three months until our August election, we need to prepare
for these attacks to ramp up. But we're preparing to go up against
virtually unlimited funds from super PACs, so we need everyone's support.
