** Local Elected Officials Sign-On Letter
------------------------------------------------------------

Please reach out to your local elected officials and ask them to sign this urgent sign-on letter ([link removed]) . The letter urges Governor Hochul and the NY State Legislature to support three critical bills that will help buildings in NYS transition off fossil fuels.

It’s important to get local elected officials from all across NYS signed on by Friday; there is very little time but an urgent need to move forward this session. We are at 60 signers and need your help getting to 100 by the end of this week! Local elected official voices are crucial for influencing and supporting our state government to take these urgent steps for the climate, public health, and a green economy.
1. Check whether your local legislators have already signed on here ([link removed]) .
2. If they haven’t, please use this sample outreach email ([link removed]) to ask them to sign on here ([link removed]) !
